We cannot accept asbestos as we do not have the necessary licence to handle it.
Plasterboard, farmers plastic, fridge/freezers, mattresses, gas bottles and full tins of paint incur additional charges. Please contact us for confirmation of costs.
You can keep our skips on-site for anything up to 4 weeks. Longer hire terms are to be agreed at the Managers discretion.
Please contact us when your skip is ready for collection.
Please see the website Skip Hire tab for information about skip sizes. Skips should be filled to the “load level,” level with the top of the skip. Overloaded skip will incur additional charges.
The Environment Agency classes plasterboard as hazardous waste. For this reason we ask that plasterboard is bagged separately to general mixed waste. Small bags of plasterboard can be placed on the top of your mixed waste skip. If you have large amounts of plasterboard to dispose of or it is not possible to transport your plasterboard safely on the top of your mixed waste skip, we can provide you with a skip dedicated for your plasterboard disposal. Please contact us for further information.
Our lorries need at least a 9 feet (2.7 metre) wide access in order to access your property. If you think we may have difficulties accessing your property, please contact us on 01726 860383 to discuss.
We can only place skips on private property. In order to place a skip on a public highway, you would need to apply for a licence from Cornwall Council. Further information about this can be found on the Cornwall Council website – Placing a skip on the highway – Cornwall Council
If you have limited access, it can sometimes be quicker and more cost effective to have a “wait to load” service. With a wait to load, the driver will arrive on-site and agree a place to drop the skip. You will have 30-45 minutes to load the skip before the driver will pick it up and take it away again.
